Challenge:
Oakville Hospital Foundation (OHF) engaged Power Play as their AOR to help them transform their annual fundraising gala, the Candlelight Ball. After 27 years, OHF was looking to introduce a new experience to their stakeholders, that represents the best Oakville has to offer.
Solution:
As OHF’s trusted partner, we worked with them to bring to life a series of world class experiences, under the umbrella of Oakville’s Own. In 2021, we introduced The Expedition, a virtual, round the world experience and in 2022, executed The Stakes! The Stakes was Oakville’s unique twist on the Kentucky Derby. This one-of-a-kind experience, featured derby themed food and beverage stations, interactive activations, entertainment and horse racing. More than 500 guests gathered on June 4th and raised more than $650,000 in support of their local hospital.
