ONTARIO HOCKEY LEAUGHE
OBJECTIVE
The Ontario Hockey League set out to reintroduce its annual Priority Selection as a live event for the first time in more than 25 years, creating a unique opportunity to celebrate the next generation of OHL talent in front of players, families, teams, partners, and fans.
RESULTS
Power Play Production Group Inc. partnered with the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) to deliver the 2026 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore, marking the event's first return to a live audience in more than 25 years.
Held at Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, Ontario, the two day event welcomed players, families, team personnel, partners, and fans from across the province while reaching audiences through broadcast and digital platforms. Power Play Production Group Inc. led the planning and execution of the live production, overseeing stage management, technical production, broadcast integration, and event operations to create a seamless experience for both in-person attendees and viewers at home.
The successful return to an arena-based format marked a major milestone for the OHL. Power Play Production Group Inc. was recognized by the league for helping deliver a world-class production that celebrated the next generation of hockey talent.
