SUPERFAN SEND-OFF
CANADA BASKETBALL
OBJECTIVE
Power Play Production, Canada Basketball and legendary Global Community Ambassador Nav Bhatia delivered the Canada Basketball Superfan Send-Off at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport in Toronto.
Designed to feel like a mini NBA All-Star Day, this celebration served as the ultimate official send-off for Canada’s Senior Men’s, Senior Women’s, and 3x3 Women’s National Teams before they headed off to compete against the best basketball nations in the world on the global stage. The goal was to blend top-tier sports entertainment with grassroots community impact, creating an unforgettable, family friendly afternoon of basketball.

RESULTS
The atmosphere was electric as fans of all ages got closer than ever to their national team heroes. The on court action featured high energy, mixed-team skills challenges, including a Team Relay, Passing Accuracy test, Shooting Challenge, and a rapid fire 3x3 Point Shootout, alongside a NextGen showcase game and a star studded lineup of celebrities and wheelchair basketball alumni.
Most importantly, the event placed the community at the center. Each competing team represented a different grassroots community group, resulting in direct funding grants through the UNIFIED Assist Program to support youth basketball development across Canada.
